Owen, age 5: Owen was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) while on vacation in Wisconsin in 2006. He had been scheduled to complete his maintenance treatments in 2009 - but plans have changed. At the end of February 2008, it was discovered that Owen's cancer was back in his central nervous system. Owen began a new cycle of more aggressive treatment the first week of March. Owen is a strong boy and will fight through this, let's keep him in our thoughts as he and his family face this new battle together. Owen loves to build race tracks, play Playstation especially hummer races with his dad, he collects football cards, his favorite team is the Green Bay Packers and his favorite food is cheese curds. When Owen grows up he would like to play for the Packers in the winter and for the Twins in the summer.

Lucy, age 5:  Lucy is another ALL survivor, she was diagnosed when her family was moving back to St. Paul from Rapid City, South Dakota in August 2004. Lucy finished her treatment in the summer of 2007 and is happily enjoying life. Lucy faced many complications during chemotherapy including a battle with shingles. Today, she is a lively, healthy five-year old who loves music, dancing and showing off how strong she is.  Lucy wants to thank everyone for helping other kids just like her get through their cancer treatment.
