Enjoy 12 months of coverage at no charge regardless of age, health or employment history when you finance or lease a new Hyundai. You deserve the freedom from financial obligations when you need it most. Simply return your vehicle† and walk away from negative equity‡, while keeping your credit rating and savings intact!


Contact the Hyundai Assurance Administrator for instructions before returning your vehicle. Up to a maximum benefit of $7,500.00.



Hyundai Assurance:
We cover a range of life changing events to protect you.

Every new Hyundai comes with 12 months of Hyundai Assurance. Should you experience one of the following life changing events, you have the option to simply return your Hyundai* and walk away from negative equity† with no impact to your credit rating or savings!

Covered Events include:

  • Involuntary Unemployment
  • Physical Disability
  • Loss of Driver's License due to Medical Impairment
  • International Employment Transfer
  • Self-Employed Personal Bankruptcy
  • Accidental Death    


* Do not return your vehicle to the dealership until directed to do so by the Hyundai Assurance Administrator. Up to a maximum benefit of $7,500.00.

How to apply for your benefits.

Four Easy Steps to request your Hyundai Assurance benefit:

 

Step 1

When you experience a qualifying event, you have two convenient options for beginning the benefit request process:

Simply call the Hyundai Assurance Administrator at 1-800-443-2570.
Be sure to have your Hyundai Assurance certificate or
Vehicle Identification Number available.

OR

Email a request by clicking here. Include your name and contact information, the Hyundai Assurance Certificate number or Vehicle Identification Number, and details about the benefit request you are making.

 

Step 2

A professional benefits specialist at Hyundai Assurance Administrator will guide you through the benefits process to ensure that your request is processed in a timely manner. To help expedite the handling process, you will need to provide any necessary documentation to Hyundai Assurance Administrator to support your qualifying event. The sooner you can provide this documentation, the quicker your request can be processed!

 

Step 3

Your benefits specialist will direct you to an appraisal specialist at your authorized Hyundai dealership for a comprehensive vehicle appraisal. The dealer's appraisal is an important element in determining the value of your vehicle.

Important Note: Do not return your vehicle to the dealership until directed to do so by the Hyundai Assurance Administrator. By returning your vehicle without proper prior authorization, you may expose yourself to unnecessary risk of default on your loan or lease.

 

Step 4

Once your benefit request has been approved, your benefits specialist will advise you to return your vehicle to your Hyundai dealer. Hyundai Assurance Administrator will handle all paperwork and coordinate settlements to your lienholder.* (Do not return your vehicle to the dealer until you are directed by Hyundai Assurance Administrator to do so).

That's it! With Hyundai Assurance you walk away without negative impact to your credit rating!

*Please consult your certificate for details on your responsibilities for any Additional Balance Amounts.
