It's hard to believe, but 2013 is already more than halfway over, with the sun setting earlier every evening, but this just means that we get to be even more excited as fall marks the start of auto show season. Before we turn our attention to new model debuts, Buerkle Hyundai would like to inform drivers in the Roseville, MN area that their favorite South Korean automaker achieved their best July sales ever.
Last month, exactly 66,005 new Hyundai models were sold reflecting a gain of 6.4 percent, year-over-year. Executive vice president of national sales for the brand division, Dave Zuchowski says of the recent gain, "July was another record-breaking sales month for us and is a great way to begin the second half of the year. This is a terrific time for consumers to purchase a new vehicle - industry inventories are being restored, there is ready access to competitive financing terms, and marketing activities and incentive support are running at a fevered pitch."1
Two models that drastically contributed to the brand's sales increases included the Santa Fe and Elantra, which were the two strongest performers reflecting gains of 48 percent and 29 percent, respectively. The brand also celebrated two model milestones in July with the sales of the two-millionth Sonata and one-millionth Santa Fe.
