What is Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance? This free and essential maintenance plan is designed to keep your Hyundai vehicle running like new through regular and recommended care and service. With Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance, you’ll be covered for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, and won’t have to worry about the costs of basic factory maintenance.
All factory-scheduled maintenance intervals are listed in your vehicle owner's manual, so you can visit our St. Paul Hyundai dealer for all the services below when the time comes!

All Hyundai services are performed by factory-trained technicians for your peace of mind, and you’ll owe no costs for oil changes and tire rotations on the Hyundai "Normal" maintenance schedule in your owner's manual. Every visit includes a multi-point inspection, and at Buerkle Hyundai, you'll also get everything else in our Oil Change Package, including a free car wash to top off your service visit.
The free oil changes and tire rotations can be claimed at our local Hyundai dealer, within 1,000 miles (before or after) the recommended mileage interval. As an example, for a 7,500-mile maintenance interval, you can come in any time when your odometer is between 6,500 and 8,500 miles.

Minnesotans know that the blizzards, humidity and high temperatures we experience throughout the year are not exactly mild weather. Because of that, we're in the Hyundai Severe Maintenance Schedule, and local drivers need more frequent service to keep our Hyundai vehicles happy. Here’s what you can expect depending on the powertrain currently in your vehicle:
- With a non-turbo, you can expect to pay for three oil changes and tire rotations in the first three years or 36,000 miles.
- With a turbo, you can expect to pay for four oil changes and tire rotations in the first three years or 36,000 miles.
- With an electric, your tire rotations are all covered, and there are no oil changes!

FAQs
Can I get my free oil changes anywhere?
You can get them at any Hyundai dealer. This is so Hyundai can pay the bill on your behalf and make sure your vehicle gets the best possible service.
What if I get an oil change at a quick lube because there's no Hyundai dealer around, can I still use the rest?
Yes, you can still use the rest of your free oil changes! Missing one does not affect the other ones. You can't save them for later, however.
Is this a warranty?
No, this isn't a warranty. It's an extra benefit that is addition to the existing new Hyundai warranty! You can learn more about the Hyundai warranty at https://www.hyundaiusa.com/assurance/america-best-warranty.aspx.
Does this cover all maintenance?
Hyundai Complementary Mainteance only covers basic services listed in the Owner's Manual at the time specified. Normal wear and tear items such as engine and air filters, cabin filter, wiper blades, brake pads, etc. are not covered.

Complimentary maintenance includes Hyundai approved oil and oil filter change (except for electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles) plus tire rotation at normal factory scheduled intervals for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Offer valid only for new 2020 Hyundai models purchased or leased on or after February 1, 2020. See your Hyundai dealer for further details and limitations.
TERMS OF Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance PROGRAM (HCM)*
Complimentary on all new Model Year 2020 Hyundai retail vehicles sold on and after February 1, 2020. (Hyundai retail vehicles purchased before February 1, 2020 do not qualify for HCM).
Available on all Hyundai models.
Covers oil and oil filter changes, and tire rotations, Normal Maintenance Schedule Intervals only. See the Owner's Manual for each vehicle model for full details.

HCM services are only available at authorized Hyundai servicing dealers.
Each service must be obtained within 1,000 miles or 1 month of the designated time listed in the Owner's Manual. A customer's failure to redeem services prior to the expiration of the applicable mileage/term will not void any unredeemed future services.
Commercial, Certified Pre-Owned, used, and fleet vehicles are excluded, but professional use, i.e., realtor or outside sales, is allowed.
Complimentary maintenance is not transferable; available to original owner/first retail customers only (except it can be transferred from spouse to spouse).
Only covers basic services listed in the Owner's Manual at the time specified. Normal wear and tear items such as engine and air filters, cabin filter, wiper blades, brake pads, etc. are not covered. Any additional maintenance due to severe driving is the customer's responsibility.
Does not cover services or repairs listed as "inspect" in the Owner's Manual. Any recommended services and inspections outside of oil and oil filter changes, and tire rotations will be subject to charge.
